
Playoff Series Tied 1-1, Promotions Announced

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder is teaming up with Stockton Arena, Stockton Unified School District and Lincoln Unified School District to celebrate its return home for the Kelly Cup Playoffs when the Thunder faces the Ontario Reign in Game 3 of the Pacific Division Semifinal at Stockton Arena, starting at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 15.
To kick off Stockton's hosting of the first round of the Kelly Cup playoffs, the Thunder is encouraging fans to attend a pre-game event at the newly-opened "Kings Room" of Stockton Arena to meet and greet select Thunder players, hear from coaching staff and broadcast personalities and take advantage of discounted food and beverages.
Free popcorn, $1 hot dogs, $5 draft beers and Long Island Ice Teas, chance to win Thunder memorabilia and live music from the "209 All Stars" and "Good Company" will also highlight Wednesday's festivities.
The new "Kings Room" is located adjacent to the North Entry of Stockton Arena and will be opening 90 minutes before face-off. All fans in attendance must have a ticket to the game to enter and space is limited.
The Thunder is also holding a "Save Science Camp" ticket fundraiser for local Stockton Unified School District and Lincoln Unified School District students, offering discounted Kelly Cup Playoff tickets to students, staff and faculty. The promotion will offer discounted Lower End Zone playoff tickets for $10 (a $13 value) through the "Save Science Camp" fundraising partnership for Games 3 on Wednesday as well as Game 4 on Friday, Apr. 17.
The discounted tickets can be purchased at the Stockton Arena Ticket Office upon presentation of a "Save Science Camp" flier, distributed through the Stockton Unified and Lincoln Unified School District. Two dollars from each ticket sold via the promotion will go toward each school district's "Save Science Camp" fund enabling sixth grade students to attend science camp.

Round-by-round ticket packages and single game tickets for the 2009 Kelly Cup Playoffs are now on sale at the Stockton Arena ticket office, via phone at (209) 373-1700 and online at www.StocktonTickets.com. Kelly Cup Playoff tickets start as little as $9 per seat. Current Thunder season ticket holders receive tickets to the first two rounds of the Kelly Cup Playoffs in their ticket package.
