TONIGHT:
The Ontario Reign (6-3) and Utah Grizzlies (4-4) play the third match of their best-of-seven Pacific Division Finals series, and the first of three potential matches at Maverik Center. The winner of this series will face the winner of the Central Division Finals (Allen Americans vs. Rapid City Rush) in the Western Conference Finals. Ontario finished 6-3-1-1 against Utah during the 2014-15 regular season, winning the final meeting by a score of 5-0. This is the second time in postseason history that the Reign and Grizzlies will face each other; Ontario previously swept the Grizzlies four games to none in 2013.
KING & NUNN TIE REIGN PLAYOFF POINTS RECORD:
Garry Nunn and Tristan King each recorded four points in Monday's match, tying the club record with C.J. Stretch, who potted four goals against the Grizzlies on Apr. 3, 2013.
NUNN TIES REIGN PLAYOFF ASSIST RECORD...AGAIN:
Garry Nunn's three assists on Monday night tied a Reign playoff record for most helpers in a single game. The record is shared with Nunn's effort from Sunday's game, along with Kyle Kraemer, who posted three assists against the Grizzlies on Apr. 3, 2013.
