
Player of the Year Winners Sign with Blizzard

The Green Bay Blizzard have signed two players that dominated Division II last year. West Virginia Wesleyan quarterback Adam Neugebauer and Cheney defensive lineman Tim Hume will provide additional depth as the Blizzard finish the regular season and prepare for the playoffs.
Neugebauer (6'1", 215 lbs) started all 11 games for the Bobcats as a senior in 2011. He led Division II and set single season school records for touchdowns (40) and yards (4,111). Neugebauer was named Super Region One Offensive Player of the Year and WVIAC Offensive Player of the Year. He was a finalist for the Harlon Hill Trophy, awarded annually to the nation's top player in Division II. Neugebauer threw for 300 yards in all 11 games, over 350 yards seven times and over 400 yards on three occasions, including a career-best 446 yards in his final collegiate game against Concord.
Hume (6'1", 270 lbs) earned many accolades during his senior season in 2011. He was named a 1st Team All-American and Super Region One Defensive Player of the Year by Don Hansen's Football Gazette, PSAC Defensive Player of the Year and Beyond Sports Network DII 2nd Team All-American. Hume was a finalist for the Gene Upshaw Award (DII Lineman of the Year). He led the conference in tackles for loss with 21.5 and led the Wolves with 6.5 sacks. A captain of the 2011 Wolves, Hume ranked sixth in the country in tackles for loss at 1.95 per game.
