Aberdeen Wings News Release
Back on February 20th, 2014, the Aberdeen Wings signed AAA defenseman Eric Moser (D-Chicago, IL) from the midget major Team Illinois.
"Eric is an aggressive, two-way defenseman with good mobility," said Aberdeen Wings head coach Francis Anzalone. "He is strong on his skates, competes in all three zones and plays with an edge."
During the 2013-2014 season, Moser had 5 assists in 27 games. Now in his rookie season of the NAHL, Moser scored a goal in the first period last Friday against the Topeka Roadrunners in pre-season exhibition play.
"We believe his style of play fits a piece we are looking for," added Anzalone. "We are excited to work with him."
The Aberdeen Wings continue Training Camp this week and next week in preparation for the official start of the 2014-2015 season at the NAHL Showcase in Blaine, MN. Those games can be heard on 94.1 The Rock, online at AberdeenWings.com or HubCityRadio.com, you can also tap the apps/stream on the Wings' home page, or WATCH/LISTEN live feed on FASTHockey.com.
