Dunedin Blue Jays News Release
DUNEDIN, FL - Skip lunch on Thursday, July 17th, because the Dunedin Blue Jays are hosting their annual Pizza Night. It's a night of all-you-can-eat pizza and baseball as local restaurants in the Tampa Bay area bring the best they have to offer as they battle it out for the title of "Best Slice."
Up for grabs are trophies for Best Cheese, Best Pepperoni and Best Specialty slice. As with the trophies from Wing Night and Beer, Bacon and Fireworks Night, the trophies to be awarded on Pizza Night are of the same outstanding quality and are likely to be prominently displayed by the winners. Fans will be voting for the winners, so the restaurants will make sure to have the best of their menus.
It's also a Thirsty Thursday, which should make the night even more palatable. To help wash down all the cheesy goodness, there will be Thirsty Thursday specials with $2 beer, wine and soda available throughout the game.
The first-half champion D-Jays take on the Jupiter Hammerheads at Florida Auto Exchange Stadium at 6:30 p.m. A ticket and all-you-can-eat pizza is just $12. For tickets or more information, visit www.dunedinbluejays.com or call 727-733-9302.
