Miami Majesty News Release
Sunrise, FL. The ABA Florida Pit Bulls are pleased to announce the addition of Angela Rizzi to their ownership team. In addition to providing quality professional basketball, one of the key objectives of the Florida Pit Bulls is to provide an exceptional, entertaining family experience. Ms. Rizzi brings expertise in the promotions and entertainment fields to the team and will serve as the Director of Entertainment and Community Relations.
For the past 12 years, Angela has served the South Florida business community both personally, and through companies she has founded, Prestige Promotions, Inc. and Prestige Models & Talent, Inc. Through these companies, she continues to offer the most professional service in promotional marketing, entertainment and event planning. She is currently in the process of launching a National Music Tour & Reality Show, entitled Hunger for Music, which will lend itself to the entire ABA League for musical entertainment and community interaction.
In addition to business experience, Ms. Rizzi has realized a modeling and acting career. Her accomplishments include: print modeling, representation of numerous products, both English and Hispanic movies, commercials and television programs. In 1995, she was selected Miss Miami Grand Prix and has served as the Emcee for the City of Miami's Special Programs, including the National Crime Night Out and the Olympic Torch Run Program, attended by over 100,000 people.
Ms. Rizzi donates her time and marketing expertise to various worthy causes, including coordination of JamMiami, a Latin Jazz concert which raised over $300,000 for music programs in the Miami-Dade public schools and was nominated for a Latin Grammy. She has lent her time and resources to various charitable organizations such as MakeAWish Foundation, MiamiBridge, the CHARLEE Program and Ayuda.
Having a diverse background in a combination of business, creative arts and community service, Ms. Rizzi offers this insight to create and implement strong, community based promotional campaigns and innovative entertainment to the Florida Pit Bulls organization. It is this insight that will allow for The Florida Pit Bulls to be positioned as one of the flagship teams in the ABA.
In addition to joining the Pit Bulls' executive team, Ms. Rizzi has also taken an equity stake in the organization and is now a co-owner of the team. According to Demetrius Ford, the majority owner of the Pitbulls, "Angela brings to the Pit Bulls what money simply cannot buy - credibility and incomparable professionalism. She is one of the most respected and adored women in the entertainment business and I can't tell you how fortunate we are to have her on our team. The game day entertainment and community outreach programs Angela is developing will revolutionize professional sports in South Florida, so get ready!"
