
Pirates Sponsor Playoff Fan Road Trip

PORTLAND, ME â The Portland Pirates, in conjunction with Our Tickets and Tours, announced today that they are sponsoring a fan bus trip to Providence, Rhode Island for game three, if necessary, of the Pirates' Calder Cup Playoffs Qualifying Round series against the Providence Bruins on Sunday, April 18th. The Pirates are playing the Bruins in a best-of-three series with all games in Providence. If the two teams split the first two games on Thursday, April 15th and Friday, April 16th, they will play a deciding game three at the Dunkin' Donuts Center in Providence on Sunday at 4:05 p.m.
Fans making the trip will receive tickets to the game, round trip motor coach transportation to and from the game, raffle prizes and trivia games during the trip for the adults and kids and skull and crossbones flags to wave at the game. Fans making this trip will also receive first option to purchase tickets for the next Pirates' Fan Road Trip. This is a family friendly road trip, and no alcohol will be permitted on the bus. The price per person is just $40. Should either the Pirates or the Bruins win the series in two games, everyone who has paid for the trip will be reimbursed in full.
The trip will depart from the Weathervane Restaurant parking lot at the Maine Mall at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday and return at approximately 11:00 p.m. For more information or to purchase tickets, fans should call Our Tickets and Tours at 787-3184.
Fans can listen to the first two games of the series in greater Portland on WLOB, AM-1310 and FM-96.3, on Pirates' Radio Network station 1220-AM ESPN Radio in Sanford and on the Internet at portlandpirates.com.
