
Pirates Sign DL Malik Harris

WORCESTER, MA - The Massachusetts Pirates have signed defensive lineman Malik Harris.
Harris began this season with the Houston Gamblers of the United States Football League and appeared in two games.
The 6'5", 265 lb. lineman was the sixth pick in the third round of the USFL's supplemental draft. Prior to the USFL Harris played with the Aviators in The Spring League.
Harris, who hails from Omaha, NE, started his college football career playing at Pima Community College in Arizona. He later transferred to The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX.
As a junior in 2017, Harris played tight end and in 11 games had 13 receptions for 136 yards and three touchdowns. In 2018 he moved to defensive line. In 11 games he recorded 34 tackles (13 solo and 21 assists) along with three sacks.
The 2021 United Bowl Champions; Massachusetts Pirates are members of the Indoor Football League (IFL).
