
Pirates Announce Game Date Change

Portland, Maine - The Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League announced today that their game against the Manchester Monarchs, originally scheduled for Tuesday, March 6 at 11 a.m., has been rescheduled to Wednesday, March 28 at 6:30 p.m.
Fans that have previously purchased tickets to the March 6 date, can use their same ticket for the March 28 game and no further action is required. If there are any questions about this switch, contact the Pirates ticket office at 207-828-4665 x350.
Additionally, the Pirates game on the road against the Manchester Monarchs on Wednesday, November 9 has been changed from an 11 a.m. faceoff to 10:30 a.m.
The Pirates will wrap up their two-game road series against the IceCaps tonight at 6:00 p.m. EDT (7:30 p.m. NDT) and fans can catch all of the action with broadcaster Jeff Mannix on the Portland Pirates Radio Network 95.9 WPEI and 95.5 WPPI.
Pirates hockey will return to the Civic Center on Friday, October 28 at 7 p.m. when the Manchester Monarchs come to town for the third of 12 meetings this season on Word of Life/United Way Night. Friday also means another "Dollar Desert Dog" night where fans can purchase their "Desert Dog" hot dogs for a single dollar from when gates open until 10 minutes into the second period. Additionally featured at the game is a Bill Dodge Auto Group Special Team Photo giveaway and the first Good Shepherd Food Bank Night of the season. The first 2,000 fans through the turnstiles will receive a special team photo, courtesy of Bill Dodge Auto Group, and every fan who donates a non-perishable food item to the Good Shepherd Food Bank will receive two tickets to a future Pirates game.
