Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee, WI-- The Milwaukee Admirals return home for four of their next five games beginning Saturday, October 29 at 7:00 p.m. when the Admirals host to the Grand Rapids Griffins, followed by a visit from the Texas Stars on Sunday October 30, at 3:00 p.m.
The Admirals will wear special pink jerseys at both games and those jerseys will be auctioned off via an online and silent auction with the proceeds going to Lee National Denim Day. Since 1996, Lee National Denim Day(r) has raised nearly $80 million for the fight against breast cancer, $5 at a time. Money raised supports the Woman's Cancer Programs of Entertainment Industry Foundation and Cancer Support Communities.
The online auction at milwaukeeadmirals.com began on Monday, and will run through 4:00 pm on Friday, October 28th. The final bids online will then become the starting bids for the silent auction, which will be located in the West Atrium, and begin when the doors open on Saturday, October 29th at 6:00 pm. It will conclude with five minutes to go in the second intermission on Sunday, October 30. The winning bidders will have the opportunity to meet the player whose jersey they won, provided they are at the game on the 30th.
Also, on Saturday, the first 10,000 fans in attendance will receive an Admirals Schedule pen, courtesy of Potawatomi Bingo Casino and country music star Craig Morgan will perform in a special post-game concert, sponsored by FM106 and Coors Light.
More fun is scheduled for the 30th. Sunday is a Private Bank Family Days. Here you receive four tickets, four hot dogs and four sodas for $50! This is a savings of over $40! This ticket package is perfect for families looking for a fun and exciting Sunday outing, but must be purchased at least 24 hours in advance. In the Private Bank Family Skate, fans can also skate on the ice after the game but must bring their own skates.
Finally on Sunday, the first 5,000 fans will receive a set of pink cheer-stix, courtesy of Lee Jeans.
