Pippins To Unveil Uniforms

YAKIMA, Wash.-As the Yakima Valley Pippins get closer to opening day on June 6th they are inviting the community to be a part of another essential step in the process - the unveiling of the team's inaugural season uniforms on Wednesday, May 28th, 2014. The event will be hosted by the Yakima Valley Museum at 2105 Tieton Drive in Yakima. The event will begin at 12:05 PM, a perfect lunch-hour diversion during the work week. Local media personalities as well as Pippins Manager Marcus McKimmy will be on hand to model the uniforms and gear.
"Our uniforms play well with the themes of our franchise," Pippins general manager Danny Tetzlaff said, "Majestic makes a great product and our players will showcase it very well."
Merchandise will be available at the event, and members of the team's ownership group will be in attendance to discuss the exciting brand of baseball that will call the Yakima Valley home.
"New Era, Nike, and Majestic are three great brands and offer top-of-line products for both our players and fans," Pippins President and COO Zachary Fraser said. "Our players will look good in any one of our uniform combinations, all of which feature the Yakima Valley prominently. Our fans will be very proud of our style."
The Yakima Valley Pippins Inaugural Season will commence with Opening Day presented by Country Financial at Yakima County Stadium on June 6th at 7:05 pm. The Pippins take the field against East Division rival Wenatchee AppleSox. Tickets are now on sale for the 2014 season, including full-season and partial-season packages.
