Pioneers to hold pool party

Wilkes-Barre, PA - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers are pleased to announce the team's "Pioneers Playbook" television program, which airs Saturday's at 10:30AM on PAX TV, will hold a pool party for the final taping of 2004 Monday, August 2nd at the Woodlands Inn and Resort.

"We're excited to be able to offer our fans a chance to join us at the television show's season finale," said Pioneers President Dave Berryman.

Jeff Casella, host of the "Pioneers Playbook," is serving as the organizer for the event.

"The bottom line is it's going to be a lot of fun," said Casella.

"Fans will be able to swim, play games, and meet players as well as members of the dance team. We may also throw in a 'Pony Express' bikini contest if we have time," he added.

Monday's party will kick off at 5:00PM, and admission is $12.00 All food and drinks will be included in the admission price. Anyone interested in attending may R.S.V.P. by contacting Jeff Casella at 510-8910.
