Player News: The arenafootball2 league recently assigned the following players to the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers: Nate Bandy 6-5, 280 - Tennessee Titans training camp; Scottish Claymores training camp Jason Gibson 5-11, 185 - Fairmont State; Greensboro Prowlers Rocco Forgione 6-2, 210 - Bloomsburg Dennis Wuestkamp 6-1, 185 Sacred Heart; New Haven Ninjas Friday, May 16 vs. Norfolk Nighthawks: Armed Forces Night. Join us in helping to honor to our American heroes. TICKETING SPECIAL: For Armed Forces Night, all upper level seats are BUY TWO TICKETS AND GET TWO TICKETS FREE. Be one of the first fans through the gates and receive an American Flag. Join us for a special pre-game ceremony with involvement from all branches of the military. Plus, visit the military fan interactive booths on the outer concourse. Plenty of great seats are still available. Wednesday, May 14: Read to Achieve School Appearance with Pioneers players and mascot. (Closed to the Public/Open to the Media).

Wednesday, May 14: Booster Club MEETING. Members may join new team President and General Manager Dave Berryman and a Pioneers player at the Ramada Inn in Wilkes-Barre at 7:30PM.

Thursday, May 15th: Coaches Show. Call and talk with Coach live at (570) 883-0098. Listen on WILK - 910 AM Scranton, 980 AM Wilkes-Barre, and 1300 AM Hazleton.

Friday, May 16th: Drug and Alcohol Prevention/ Health Awareness Fair at the Wyoming Valley West Stadium, Kingston: Crockett Appearance from 11:30– 12:30.

Saturday, May 17th: Pioneers Pony Express performance at the Relay for Life benefiting Breast Cancer Research.
