Phoenix Suns GM James Jones Buys Block of Tickets for NAZ Suns Sparklight Opening Night

PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - Phoenix Suns General Manager James Jones has taken it upon himself to ensure Suns fans in the quad-city area have every opportunity to see professional basketball right in their own backyard.

Jones has purchased a block of 250 tickets for fans to attend the Northern Arizona Suns Sparklight™ Opening Night for free. The NAZ Suns play the Agua Caliente Clippers at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Findlay Toyota Center in Prescott Valley, Arizona, with pregame activities to begin at 3:30 p.m.

"When we assign players to our NBA G League team, the Northern Arizona Suns, we want our fans in the quad-city area to get the first look at some of the great talent we have on our roster," Jones said. "We assign players to help with their development, and part of that development involves performing in a high pressure and loud environment. I'm thrilled to be able to assist in creating that while giving Suns fans in that area the opportunity to see our team."

Fans can claim up to four tickets per person at the Findlay Toyota Center box office starting today.

Jones bought the block of tickets to recognize Phoenix's first player assignment of the season, Jalen Lecque, who was assigned on Oct. 28 for the first time this season to the NAZ Suns.

When the 250 ticket-count has been reached, fans can still get tickets to the game for only $10, which can be purchased at, the Findlay Toyota Center box office, or
