Phoenix Rising FC Close Preseason against Grand Canyon University

PHOENIX, Arizona - Phoenix Rising FC will play Grand Canyon University tomorrow at 10 a.m. at GCU Soccer Stadium (3300 W Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85017). The match is open to the public and media are welcome to attend.

The match against GCU is the final preseason tune-up for Rising, which begins its regular season next Saturday, March 11 (5:30 p.m.) in Charleston, South Carolina, vs. the Battery. That match will air live on Arizona's Family Sports & Entertainment Network (OTA channel 44/Cox channel 13) and stream on ESPN+.

Construction continues on the team's stadium at 38th St/Washington. Rising's inaugural match at the central location is set for Saturday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. vs. San Diego Loyal SC. Single-game tickets for that match start at $25.

This week, midfielders Emil Cuello and Maryvale High School alum Jose Andres Hernandez visited Tomahawk Elementary School to read to third and fourth graders on Read Across America Day.
