
Phoenix Mercury announces PGA event prior to July 27th contest

The Phoenix Mercury and PGA of America will conduct a WNBA Golf School "Learn to Play Golf" event for fans and their families leading up to the Mercury's game vs. the Indiana Fever on Sunday, July 27. From 5 - 6 p.m., fans can interact with PGA club professionals and enjoy free golf instruction at US Airways Center.
In addition, the Mercury will host a farewell celebration for Team USA members Diana Taurasi and Cappie Pondexter. The contest marks the last game before the WNBA takes its month-long break to accommodate Team USA in its quest for Gold in Beijing.
