
Phoenix Mercury Announces 2023 Opening Night Roster

PHOENIX - The three-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury announced today its 2023 opening night roster ahead of its season tip-off against the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday, May 19. The Mercury will take on the Sparks at Crypto.com Arena at 8 p.m. PST before returning home to Footprint Center to face the Chicago Sky on Sunday at 1 p.m. PST. Both games will be broadcasted on ESPN.
The Mercury enter their 27th season in the WNBA in 2023, led by second-year Head Coach Vanessa Nygaard and General Manager Jim Pitman.
The three-time WNBA Champion Phoenix Mercury return to Footprint Center this summer, tipping off the season on Sunday, May 21 against the Chicago Sky in the Fry's Food Stores Welcome Home Opener. Tickets for all Phoenix Mercury home games are on sale now at PhoenixMercury.com/TIX.
