Chester, Pa. (March 28, 2011) - Philadelphia Union (2-0-0, 6 points) travel to Los Angeles this weekend to take on the Galaxy (1-1-1, 4 points) at the Home Depot Center on Saturday, April 2 at 10:30 p.m. EST. For the first time in franchise history, the Union are atop the Eastern Conference standings after posting their second straight shutout on Saturday, March 26. This week's game against the Galaxy will be televised live on The Comcast Network, with the 30-minute pre-game show beginning at 10:00 p.m. EST.

On Saturday, the Union opened PPL Park with a 1-0 victory against the Vancouver Whitecaps, their second straight victory, resulting in the club's first winning streak in franchise history. This win also ties the number of shutouts logged by the Union during their inaugural season with two. Assisted by Sebastien Le Toux, Carlos Ruiz scored the game's lone goal and became the League's all-time leading Central American scorer with 83 career tallies.

After a training camp in Dallas last week, Philadelphia Union midfielder Amobi Okugo and goalkeeper Zac MacMath are now in Guatemala with the U-20 Men's National Team for the 2011 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. U-20 USMNT veteran Okugo and 'keeper MacMath will take the pitch tomorrow night, when the U.S. faces Suriname at 8:00 p.m. EST at Estadio Nacional Mateo Flores. The game will be broadcast live on ESPN Deportes and ESPN3. The Union are the only MLS club to have two representatives on the U-20 National squad._
