
Philadelphia Union Announce 2022 Roster Decisions

CHESTER, Pa. - Philadelphia Union today announced that they have exercised the contract options on five players from their 2021 roster, while 20 contracts were already guaranteed for next season, giving the club a roster that currently features 25 players under contract for the 2022 campaign.
Options have been exercised for Joe Bendik, Jack Elliott, Kacper Przybylko, Sergio Santos, and Cole Turner.
Aurelien Collin, Ilsinho, and Alvas Powell are out of contract. The club has submitted bona fide offers to Anthony Fontana and Matt Real.
Players under contract for 2022: Paxten Aaronson, Alejandro Bedoya, Andre Blake, Jesús Bueno, Cory Burke, Brandan Craig, Jack de Vries (on loan to Venezia), Stuart Findlay, Leon Flach, Matt Freese, Daniel Gazdag, Jakob Glesnes, Nathan Harriel, José Martínez, Olivier Mbaizo, Jack McGlynn, Jamiro Monteiro, Matej Oravec (on loan to FK Železiarne Podbrezová), Quinn Sullivan, Kai Wagner
