
Philadelphia Soul DS Eddie Moten and OL/DL Ernest Allen receive All-Arena honors

PHILADELPHIA - The Arena Football League announced today that Philadelphia Soul DS Eddie Moten was named to the All-Arena First Team while OL/DL Ernest Allen received All-Arena Second Team honors.
Moten (5'10", 185, Texas A&M Kingsville) finished the regular season tying a League record with 13 interceptions (Clevan Thomas, 2001) and tallied 104 total tackles, 18 pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Three of his interceptions were returned for touchdowns and he is now one of only six players in League history to record more than 100 tackles in a season. He also led the League in passes defended with 31 (13 interceptions, 18 breakups). Moten was recognized as the ADT Defensive Player of the Game six times and received League honors as Defensive Player of the Week once. Moten is also a candidate for ADT Defensive Player of the Year honors.
Allen (6'4", 300, Cincinnati) earned his fifth All-Arena Second Team honor after tallying 17 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for losses, two sacks and two pass breakups from the nose guard position. He was recognized for his play as ADT Defensive Player of the Game twice this season.
