Phantoms announce exhibition addition

PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Phantoms announced today that they have added a home game to their preseason slate. In preparation for the 2006-07 campaign they will now play three games in the Delaware Valley, including the newly-added 1:00 PM faceoff against the Hershey Bears on Monday, Sept. 25 at Virtua Health Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees, NJ.

The Phantoms first preseason game is Thursday, Sept. 21 at 1:30 PM, as they welcome the new affiliate of the New Jersey Devils, the Lowell Devils, at the Virtua Health Flyers Skate Zone in Voorhees.

Following the tilt against the Bears on the 25th, the Polonia Bank Flyers Skate Zone in Northeast Philadelphia will host the third Phantoms exhibition game on Sunday, Oct. 1 at 2:00 PM. The Norfolk Admirals will provide the opposition.

Philadelphia's preseason games at the two Flyers Skate Zones are open to the public and cost $10 per person, with a portion of the proceeds going to youth hockey programs. Tickets can be purchased at the respective Flyers Skate Zones or by calling 856-309-4400 (Voorhees) or 215-618-0050 (Northeast).

Along with the three home-based exhibition games, the Phantoms are still anticipating at least one additional road game. Details will be forthcoming.
