
Petes to Host Next Gen Game on Family Day Monday in Collaboration with Five Counties Children's Centre

(Peterborough, ON) - The Peterborough Petes announced on Friday that they will be hosting their annual Next Gen Game on Family Day Monday at 2:05 PM against the Sudbury Wolves.
The participants for this year's Next Gen Game were selected by Five Counties Children's Centre and will be announced in a press conference at the Peterborough and District Sports Hall of Fame and will be streamed live on the Petes Facebook Page at 12:30PM on Monday.
The 2023 Next Gen Game will include the following positions:
General Manager
Head Coach
Assistant Coach
PA Announcer
In-Game Host
Radio Broadcaster
The game will also include a number of activations centered around Family Day. This includes in-game elements, a gaming station with a Nintendo Switch in the East Lobby, face painting, balloon art, giant lego, Minions roaming around the arena during the game, and a post-game skate with the Petes. Rawscoe's Sport Collectibles will also be handing out Upper Deck hockey cards to the first 500 kidsin attendance.
Media are invited to attend the press conference on Monday at 12:30PM at the Peterborough and District Sports Hall of Fame.
