
Petes Thankful for Road Win in North Bay

(Peterborough, ON) - The Petes had lots to be thankful for Monday afternoon, defeating the North Bay Battalion 4-1 in a second annual Thanksgiving showdown between the Eastern Conference clubs.
Toronto Maple Leafs prospect Semyon Der-Arguchintsev and overage forward scored their first goals of the season. Pavel Gogolev (2) and Chad Denault (3) also netted single markers.
Nick Isaacson continued his hot play, recording two assists in the win to bring his season points total to 3 goals, 5 assists, and 8 points. Erik ?ermák registered his first OHL point, an assist; Gogolev, Matt McNamara, and Zach Gallant also tallied assists.
Hunter Jones turned away 32 of 33 shots and earned his league-lead tying fifth win of the 2018-19 campaign.
The Petes improve to 5-2 on the season.
The Petes will host two home games next weekend, first taking on the Erie Otters on Thursday, October 11 ahead of the inaugural Alumni Homecoming Weekend game against the Windsor Spitfires on Saturday, October 13. Tickets are available at the PMC Collins Barrow Box Office in-person, online, or over the phone at (705) 743-3561.
Hungry fans should also get their tickets while supplies last for the all-you-can-eat Petesa Party on Friday, October 12. Tickets start at just $10, with proceeds supporting the Petes Education Fund and Roger Neilson House.
