IceDogs Games this Week
October 9, 2018 - Ontario Hockey League (OHL)
Niagara IceDogs News Release
The Niagara IceDogs are back in action this week against a couple divisional foes.
The IceDogs are home Thursday night to the Barrie Colts. Last season, the 'Dogs stumbled against the Colts, but this season the tables are sure to turn.
On Thursday night, we will be paying tribute to St. Catharines hockey legend Stan Mikita. We will be remembering all he has done for hockey in the Niagara Region with a ceremonial puck drop, banner raising and with Stan Mikita hockey cards being passed out to fans as they enter. The IceDogs will also be wearing commemorative St. Catharines Tee-Pees jerseys for warm-ups and the opening ceremony in his honour. The jerseys will be sold, with all proceeds being donated to a charity (to be announced at a later date).
On Saturday, the 'Dogs are making their way to Barrie with a re-match against the Colts. They end their weekend with a Sunday matinee in Sudbury against the Wolves.
Our home games can be watched live on YourTV Niagara, live-streamed on OHLLive, listened to live with Ted and Jamie on the call on 610 CKTB. Fans can also follow @OHLIceDogs on Twitter for all in-game updates.
If you haven't yet secured your tickets to our special home game this week, make sure you pick them up.
