Petes Partners in Education Presented by Bell Let's Talk And Cameco Kicked off on October 12

Peterborough, ON- The Peterborough Petes are once again offering the popular Partners in Education program to schools during the 2016/17 season. The program kicked off on Wednesday, October 12 at Beatrice Strong Public School in Port Hope.
Sponsored this season by Bell Let's Talk and Cameco, The Partners in Education program is a partnership between the Petes, Crime Stoppers Peterborough-Northumberland, and the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Kawartha, Haliburton, Pine Ridge. Through the program, students learn about bullying awareness and prevention, and mental health awareness.
Students participating in the program receive free bookmarks, player autograph cards, hockey pucks, and more, as well as the opportunity to interact with Petes players.
"We've received tremendous feedback about the program from local parents, teachers, students and administrators," said Matt D'Agostini, Petes Community Events & Marketing Coordinator. "Our players are excited to join the CMHA and Crime Stoppers, along with valued partners Bell Let's Talk and Cameco, to help deliver the Partners in Education program to local students."
