The Peterborough Petes today announced that they have traded 19 year old forward Luke Hietkamp to the Kingston Frontenacs in exchange for a 5th round draft pick in 2013 and a conditional 6th round draft pick in 2014 should Hietkamp play an overage season in the OHL.
Luke Hietkamp left the Petes earlier this season requesting a trade after playing just over 3 seasons for the Petes. He was the Petes 2nd round draft choice in the 2009 OHL Priority Selection from the Elgin Middle-Sex Chiefs.
