Peterborough Petes Break into CHL Top 10 Rankings

(Peterborough, ON) - The Canadian Hockey League announced Wednesday the week five edition of the Kia CHL Top 10 Rankings for the 2018-19 season, which sees the Peterborough Petes ranked 5th in the CHL.
The Petes have accumulated a record of 8-2-0-0 so far this season, including three wins in three days last weekend in games against the Erie Otters, Oshawa Generals, and Windsor Spitfires. The team is first in the East Division, Eastern Conference, and Ontario Hockey League with 16 points.
Other OHL teams in the rankings include the Ottawa 67's (8-3-0-1) at 8th, the Saginaw Spirit (6-2-1-0) at 9th, and the Guelph Storm (6-2-1-0) at 10th.
The weekly rankings, which are made up of teams from the Western Hockey League, Ontario Hockey League, and Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, are selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts.
The Petes are back in action on Thursday, October 18 at 7:05pm when they host the Oshawa Generals. Tickets are available through the PMC Collins Barrow Box Office in person and over the phone Monday to Friday from 9:30am to 5:00pm, and 24 hours a day online.
