Attack Enter Week 5 of the OHL Season Facing Trio of Teams

The Owen Sound Attack are facing three teams in four days in week 5 of the OHL season, two of which are in the Western Conference. The Bears are looking to ride off their success last weekend, winning out 4-3 against the London Knights on Saturday.

Tonight, Owen Sound will face the Hamilton Bulldogs for the first time this season for a 7:00pm puck drop at the Harry Lumley Bayshore.

The Hamilton Bulldogs sit 4th in the Eastern Conference and 3rd in their Division with 13 points in 10 games played. Their current record is 6-3-1-0.

Bulldogs centreman Brandon Saigeon currently leads the team in points, with 6 goals totalling 17 points in 10 games. Arthur Kaliyev, right winger, is close behind with 9 goals in 10 games, totalling 16 points. Saigeon and Kaliyev sit 4th and 6th overall in the OHL for points, respectively.

Tonight's game is also Aidan Dudas Bobblehead Night, so the Attack urge fans to get to the Bayshore early to avoid waiting in long lines. Parking will fill up faster than normal as well, so please come early if you are looking to park somewhere specific.

On Friday night, the Attack will head down to Sarnia to face the Sting for their second match up of the season for a 7:05pm puck drop at the Progressive Auto Sales Arena. The Bears stung Sarnia with a 5-2 win on October 3rd at the Bayshore in Owen Sound.

Sarnia currently sit 6th in the Western Conference, one spot ahead of the Attack and 3rd in their Division with 9 total points in 9 games. Their current record is 4-4-1.

The Sting's Hugo Leufvenius currently leads the team in points with 10 total points in 9 games, including 4 goals. Centreman Adam Ruzicka totals 9 points in 9 games with 3 goals. Rookie right winger Jacob Perreault sits 4th on the team for points with 8 points and 5 goals in 9 games played.

Sean Josling and Theo Hill both managed goals in the loss to the Attack on October 3, with Leufvenius, Ruzicka and Justin McCombs assisting the plays.

Friday night's game will be available for fans live on Rogers Local 53 as well as on 560 CFOS Kia of Owen Sound/Terry's Trailer Service Bear Radio.

Following Friday night's contest, the Attack will head back home to the Harry Lumley Bayshore to face the Guelph Storm for the third time this season, a 7:30pm puck drop.

The Attack are 0-2 in their match ups with the Storm thus far and are looking for their first win against Guelph on Saturday.

The Storm currently sit 1st in the Western Conference and also 1st in the Midwest Division, three spots ahead of the Attack with 13 total points in 9 games. Their record sits at 6-2-1-0.

Guelph has a handful of skilled players leading in points, including Nate Schnarr, Isaac Ratcliffe, Liam Hawel, and Ryan Merkley. Schnarr sits 10th in the league for points, and Ratcliffe sits 16th.

Hawel, Merkley and Ratcliffe all scored goals in the last match up between the Storm and Attack, with Schnarr assisting two goals.
