YORK, Pa. - PeoplesBank, A Codorus Valley Company, announced it has reached an agreement with the York Revolution to name the professional baseball club's home PeoplesBank Park for the next seven years, through the end of 2022. PeoplesBank and the York Revolution made a joint announcement at the team's annual Hot Stove Luncheon event at the Yorktowne Hotel earlier today.

As part of the agreement, PeoplesBank plans to be an integral part of the team's 10th anniversary celebrations in 2016 by teaming up with the Revolution for "PeoplesBank Night" on Saturday, April 30, 2016 and "Kids Eat Free Wednesdays" throughout the season. Further promotions will be publicized as the season draws closer.

"PeoplesBank has a long history of supporting the organizations and causes that help make York County a great place to live," said Larry J. Miller, President and Chief Executive Officer of PeoplesBank. "As the largest financial institution based in York County, we are proud to be the Revolutions' top local business partner and look forward to joining them in delivering family friendly entertainment to Revs fans throughout the spring and summer."

The park's name communicates that while baseball is its primary purpose, community activities are also on the annual calendar. The facility will continue to host youth sports, non-athletic events like the Fourth of July celebration, and fundraising events hosted by York County non-profit organizations.

"When the York Revolution management team contacted us about our interest in the ballpark naming rights, it seemed like the perfect fit for us," said Nathan Eifert, Vice President and Director of Marketing for PeoplesBank. "We've been a part of this community for more than 150 years, and a PeoplesBank financial center is never far from where Revs fans live, work and play."

The new stadium logo, unveiled as part of the announcement, has three key features: at the top, the PeoplesBank "talk box," which signifies the local and approachable nature of the bank; the shape of the iconic Keystone State sign in the middle; and a baseball diamond at the bottom. The logo showcases how two Keystone State institutions, PeoplesBank and the York Revolution, have become partners.

"This new partnership is one of the most significant in the history of the Revolution, and it's fitting that it is announced as we launch our 10th anniversary season," said York Revolution President Eric Menzer. "It's even more fitting that PeoplesBank is our new stadium naming partner, because they have such a tremendous history as an anchor business in York County, totally committed to the community. They are a model of how we hope people think about the Revolution's role as a leader in making York County a better place to live, work, and raise a family."
