WILKES-BARRE, Pa. - The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins are joining forces with World Champion Triathlete and Shavertown, PA-native Timothy O'Donnell to raise funds for Team Red, White & Blue.

The Penguins will be auctioning a 2011-12 commemorative team-signed Military Jersey on eBay beginning Tuesday, April 10 and will conclude 10:00AM on Monday, April 16.

All proceeds from the auction will go to benefit Team Red, White & Blue - an organization whose mission is to transform the way wounded veterans are reintegrated into society when they return from combat and exit their position.

O'Donnell is not only a former resident of the Wyoming Valley, but was also an officer in the United States Navy. A world-renowned triathlete, O'Donnell most recently claimed first place at Ironman 70.3 Texas, defeating Lance Armstrong among other competitors to win the U.S. Pro Championship.
