
Pelicans to Finish Texas Road Swing

Pensacola (10-14 second half and 39-32 overall) travels to Coastal Bend to finish off a seven game road trip with a four game series against the Aviators (11-14 second half and 35-37 overall).
The two teams met last week in Pensacola with the Pelicans taking two of three games. The season series has been tightly contested, with each team taking five games and the Pels holding a 58-56 scoring advantage.
The Pelicans have owned Aviator pitching, hitting a lofty .312 as a team. Bernard Caston leads the way with a .409 average and is followed by five Pensacola players who are hitting over .300 versus Coastal Bend.
Bubba Dobson and Edwar Ramirez have combined to allow no earned runs over 17.2 innings in 12 appearances against the Aviators. Santos Hernandez is 1-0 with a 2.70 ERA in two starts versus Coastal Bend.
Steve Morales, Kenny Hansley and Carlos Figueroa are all hitting over .400 against Pensacola, but Coastal Bend is only hitting .264 as a team versus the Pels.
Jose Lopez has dominated Pensacola in two starts, allowing only one run on eight hits in 15 innings while striking out 15 and recording a 0.60 ERA.
