Baltimore Pearls News Release
Baltimore, MD. Dr. Matthew E. Bradby II, owner of the ABA Baltimore Pearls, announced the re-signing of three of the Pearls last season key players:
Cornelius McMurray, Bowie State guard who currently holds the Maryland records for 3 pointers in one game and 3 pointers in consecutive games. A native of Baltimore, McMurray attended Southern High School and remains a key community figure on the team.
Javes Wiggins, a former University of Maryland Eastern Shore forward and Baltimore native who played high school basketball at famed Lake Clifton Eastern. In college, Javes was named Maryland JUCO All-First Team, to the Region XX 1st Team and 1st All American.
Ernie Graham Jr, the son of Baltimore's legendary basketball star Erinie Graham and a former Independence College basketball star forward.
"It is very important to us to have local players on the team. We are the Baltimore Pearls and we are very proud of our homegrown talent. But the best part is that these guys can play. We will be very competitive," stated Dr. Bradby. For more information, call 410 558 4550 or email matthew.bradby@pearlsbasketball.com or visit www.pearlsbasketball.com or www.abalive.com.
