Tennessee Mud Frogs News Release
Chattanooga, TN. The ABA Tennessee Mud Frogs have signed the two-time Player of the Year from the Appalachian Conference, Cedric Brown. Brown, a 6-7 forwarded, with a wing span of a seven footer, who played at Bluefield College, decided to bring his talents to The Pond with the Mud Frogs!
His long arms has made it difficult to score for opposing teams as it becomes illegal to try to score from his area! Brown was highly sought after from other ABA teams as well as many international teams. Owner Patrick Chatman asked Brown "why the Mud Frogs?" Brown answered, "I wanted to be with a team that is unique like my playing style and that cares about me as a person. The owner of the Mud Frogs has shown me all of that and made it easy for me to decide where I want to play. I am proud to be a Mud Frog."
Another signer, A.J. Mastin, a local player, who played at Red Bank High School and Southern Poly, with unlimited range from the arc, will be dropping bombs and raining threes for the Mud Frogs. "Mastin has a reputation from this area for the bombs he has dropped and leaving opposing teams in disarray," Chatman added. "With these additions, look out ABA. And take cover. Ribbet!
