June 18, 2007 - Albany, GA- The Bradenton Juice took on the top team in the South Coast League the South Georgia Peanuts on Monday and it was not a great start to the series for Bradenton as the Juice lost 2-0. Rocky Collis took the loss for Bradenton after having a solid start while the Juice mustered only two hits.

Eddie Kim got the first hit of the game for Bradenton in the 2nd inning on a single to left field and three batters later Mikela Olsen singled to left field. Four South Georgia Peanuts combined on the shutout with Dumas Garcia (3-1) getting the win pitching 5 innings, allowing 0 runs on 2 hits, walking 1 and striking out 5 Juice batters. Drew Shetrone pitched the 9th for South Georgia picking up his 2nd save of the year.

Rocky Collis (1-3) takes the loss for the Juice despite pitching well, he went 6 innings, allowing a run on 6 hits, walking 2 and striking out 7 batters.

Bradenton is now 16-10 on the season while South Georgia improves to 18-8.

Bradenton will go for its first ever win over the Peanuts on Tuesday at the Paul Eames Sports Complex with the first pitch set for 7:10.
