Richmond Roosters News Release
RICHMOND, Ind. --- Now we'll see if counting all those carbs really paid off.
The Roosters will stage Pay Your Weight Night, Friday July 16th when the club entertains the Washington (Pa.) Wild Things. The game starts at 6:30 p.m. (CST), with the games open at 5:30 p.m.
A mammoth Toledo scale will be staged at the ticket gate at Don McBride Stadium and patrons will pay one-cent per-pound for admission.
"The scale doesn't lie, and we'll see who pays the most to see the Roosters on this night," said Deanna Beaman, VP and GM of the ballclub. "In fact, for some, it may be wiser to pay regular admission than tip the scales."
Beaman also mentioned that patrons would be permitted to empty their pockets of items that may tip the scale.
As always, tickets are available at the McBride Stadium box office, Side 1 Music on East Main in the Kroger Plaza, or by calling 765-935-PLAY!
