PawSox and Bulls Tilt Ends in 6-6 Tie

Pawtucket Red Sox News Release
The Pawtucket Red Sox had to settle for a 6-6 tie on Monday afternoon against the Durham Bulls in Port Charlotte, FL. The PawSox held a 4-0 lead heading to the bottom of the 4th and a 6-3 advantage going to the bottom of the 6th but Durham scored 3 runs in the 6th to account for the 6-6 final.
Henry Owens started and threw well as he left with a 4-1 lead after allowing a pair of infield singles to begin the bottom of the 5th-inning. Miguel Celestino came on and allowed both inherited runners to score closing the book on Owens - 4+ IP, 5 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 3 SO. Celestino gave up two hits but was not charged with any runs in his inning of work.
Noe Ramirez pitched the 6th-inning and surrendered 3 runs on 4 hits as the Bulls rallied to tie the game at 6-6. Matt Hoffman (two perfect innings) and Matty Ott (a scoreless 9th) both did a nice job in relief to keep the game knotted.
2B Sean Coyle (2 hits) crushed a 2-run HR in the 3rd-inning and LF Henry Ramos drilled a 2-run HR in the 4th-inning to stake the PawSox to a 4-0 advantage. Ramos also had a single and a double on the day finishing with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Pawtucket's final two runs came via a Durham error in the top of the 6th-inning.
The PawSox, who are now (a hockey-like) 3-4-2 this spring, host the Rochester Red Wings on Tuesday afternoon in Fort Myers, FL.
