Port Huron Prowlers News Release

The Port Huron Prowlers are bringing back Chris Paulin.

Paulin, a 26-year-old goalie from New York, found ice time in eight games last season. In those games he managed a 3-4 record while recording a career best .901 save percentage.

Paulin has been in the FHL since 2016 and is excited to stay in Port Huron.

"I'm very excited to be back in Port Huron this year," said Paulin. "We have a great group of guys returning and I'm excited to help the boys win some games and play in front of the best fans in the league."

Having Paulin between the pipes for the Prowlers is something that has assistant coach Matt Graham excited.

"Im excited to have Pauly coming back next season. Last season we really didn't help any of our goalies out. Thats something we are looking to improve on come next year," said Graham. "Despite that, every time he (Paulin) was in the net the team felt we had a chance to win. He battled for us in the playoffs, and we're looking forward to seeing what he can do with a full season. "

Paulin and the Prowlers will drop the puck for the FPHL season on October 25 when they head out east to take on the Danbury Hat Tricks.

Port Huron will kick off their home schedule on November 8 when the Columbus River Dragons come to McMorran Arena.
