Week At a Glance:
Friday September 26th Regina Pats 3 @ Prince Albert Raiders 4
For the second week in a row, the Pats had a home and home series with the Prince Albert Raiders. It started off well with Jordan Weal opening the scoring with his second of the year, but from there it was all Prince Albert for the next 45 minutes of the game. P.A. built a 4-1 lead, then with 41 seconds left, the Pats woke up. It began with 4-on-4 action, then with Jeff Bosch pulled for an extra attacker, Michael MacAngus finished off a beautiful passing play. Seconds later, Jordan Eberle tipped home a power play goal to cut the Raider lead to one. Eberle had one last chance to tie it with seconds left, but the player of the game, goaltender Steven Stanford, made a huge save to preserve the 4-3 win
Saturday September 27th Regina Pats 2 vs. Prince Albert Raiders 3 s/o
The Pats found themselves trailing 2-0 after 40 minutes, but with goals from Matt Delahey and Colten Teubert forced the game to overtime, then a shoot-out. The Pats got shoot-out goals from Jordan Eberle and Victor Bartley, but the Raiders went 3-for-4 and escaped with the 3-2 win.
Who's Hot, Who's Not?:
With a goal and an assist this weekend, the defending WHL player of the week, Jordan Weal, continues to lead the Pats in scoring (2g-5a-7pts). On the flip side, the Pat power play has suffered a complete power outage to begin the season. The have had 18 power play chances this season, but have connected just once, for a 5.6 percentage.
They're Back:
This weekend marked the return of all five Pats from their NHL camps. Brett Leffler, Jordan Eberle, Matt Delahey, and Colten Teubert returned for Friday's game in Prince Albert, while Linden Rowat was back in time to start Saturday night against the Raiders

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month:
For the third year in a row, the Pats along with Southland Mall have teamed up to increase awareness for breast cancer, as well as raise money for the "Research to Recovery" fund for the Canadian Cancer Society. Pink hats are available at the Neutral Zone, as well as on reginapats.com, and Southland Mall. The month will be capped with the Breast Cancer Awareness night on October 24th, when Pats players will wear special jersey's that will be auctioned off at the end of the night with all of the money going towards the "Research to Recovery" fund. This Week:
It's a busy week for the blue and white. It begins Wednesday, as the Highway One rivalry with the Moose Jaw Warriors is renewed for the 2008-09 season. They are off to a hot start (3-2), lead by the WHL player of the week, Joel Broda. Saturday, the Pats return to Brandon looking for a little revenge for back-to-back opening weekend losses. The weekend is capped Sunday, with the Red Deer Rebels paying their first visit of the season to the Brandt Centre.
