Pats Take Lockner and Pryhitka in Third Round

Regina, Saskatchewan - With two picks in the third round of the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft, the Regina Pats Hockey Club selected forward Bryan Lockner 58th overall and defenceman Tyler Pryhitka 62nd overall.

Lockner (5'11", 188 lbs), a native of Windsor, CO, captained the Colorado Thunderbirds this season and totaled 27 points (9G, 18A) in 13 games.

Pryhitka (5'11", 180 lbs) played with the Melville Millionaires this season, totaling 13 points (6G, 7A) to go with 87 penalty minutes in 26 games. The Melville, SK product also played seven games with the Midget AA Millionaires.

"We are very pleased with the Bryan Lockner selection. He is an outstanding player, one of the top players available in the draft," commented Sr. VP of Hockey Operations John Paddock. "Tyler Pryhitka is a real strong defenseman, moves well and is an aggressive player. We look forward to the future years with the Pats."

The Pats next selection will be in the 6th round, 126th overall.
