Pats Select Dawson Barteaux with 14th Overall Pick

Regina, Saskatchewan - With their first round pick (14th overall) in the 2015 WHL Bantam Draft, the Regina Pats Hockey Club is proud to select defenceman Dawson Barteaux.

Barteaux (6'0, 160 lbs) played with the Yellowhead Chiefs this season. The native of Foxwarren, MB totaled 27 points (7G, 20A) to go with 18 penalty minutes in 31 games through the Winnipeg Bantam AAA campaign.

"Dawson is very intelligent, an excellent skater and great puck mover," said Pats Sr. VP of Hockey Operations John Paddock. "We're pleased to add a player of his calibre to our prospect group."

The Pats next selection will be in the 3rd round, 58th overall.
