
Pats Sign 2019 First Round Pick Layton Feist

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats Hockey Club is pleased to announce they have signed 2019 first round bantam draft pick, defenceman Layton Feist to a Standard WHL Player Agreement, presented by Signpatico.
Feist (5'9, 163) was selected 17th overall in the WHL draft in early May. (A photo of Layton is attached for public use, please credit Keith Hershmiller).
"We are excited to have Layton commit to Regina," said Pats VP of Hockey Operations and General Manager John Paddock. "Layton is going to be a big part of our team in the years to come."
Feist, who hails from Dawson Creek, B.C, played the 2018-19 season with the Omaha North Zone Kings where he put up eight goals and 22 points in 20 games. He is the younger brother to current Pats defenceman Tyson Feist.
