
Pats Send Eberle And Teubert World Under 18 Championships

REGINA, SK - Hockey Canada and the Canadian Hockey League announced their World Under-18 National Men's roster on Tuesday. Jordan Eberle and Colten Teubert of the Pats were both named to the 22 man roster that will compete at 2008 IIHF World Under-18 Championship, April 13th to 23rd in Kazan, Russia.
Jordan Eberle (5'11",170 Ibs) recently finished up his 2nd full season with the Pats. In 70 games this season, Eberle potted a team leading 42 goals and added 33 assists for 75 points. His 42 goals tied him for 4th best in the WHL. Eberle also took part in the CHL Top Prospects Game as well as the ADT Canada/ Russia Challenge earlier this season. This will be Eberle's second stint suiting up for Team Canada, as he suited up for the Under - 18 Team that played in the Czech Republic in August 2007.
Colten Teubert (6'4",181 Ibs) the native of White Rock, BC, also played in his 2nd full season with the Pats this year. The 17-year old sophomore played in 66 games, where he scored 7 goals and added 16 assists for 23 points. The rugged rear guard also took part in the CHL Top Prospects Game as well as the ADT Canada/ Russia Challenge earlier this season. Teubert, who was the 1st overall pick in 2005WHL Bantam Draft, also teamed up with Eberle to take part in the Under - 18 Tournament in the Czech Republic, this past August.
Eberle and Teubert are two of 7 WHLers named to the team. Six players from the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League were chosen as well as nine from the Ontario Hockey League.
