Pats Pick 5th in Thursday's WHL Bantam Draft

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats are currently in the final stages of preparation for this Thursday's WHL Bantam Draft in Edmonton. The Pats will be picking fifth overall and will also have the 6th pick in the second round. The WHL Bantam Draft is an annual process, in which the Club's of the Western Hockey League select players who have graduated from bantam.

The Pats have a strong draft history with current members; Brett Leffler ('04), Colten Teubert ('05), Dominick Favreau ('07) and Myles Bell ('08) coming to the blue and white in the first round. There are also many late round steals currently on the Pats in Jordan Eberle (7th rd/05), Damien Ketlo (10th rd/06) and Jordan Weal (4th rd/07).

3rd Round (50th overall)

5th Round (94th overall)

7th Round (138th overall)

8th Round (160th overall)

9th Round (182nd overall)
