Pats Lose Game Four OT Marathon Tuesday

Regina, Saskatchewan - The Regina Pats lost a marathon game four in triple overtime to the Swift Current Broncos on Tuesday night, 5-4 the final score. The Pats led 2-0 and 3-2 in the contest but found themselves down by a goal in the dying seconds of regulation. With the net empty, Dawson Leedahl would score with 20 seconds left, his fourth of the game to force OT. The first two extra periods solved nothing but in the third OT, Swift Current went to the powerplay and Glenn Gawdin would score to win it for the Broncos. With the victory, Swift Current takes a 3-1 series lead. The shots on goal were 69-69 in the game, the Pats powerplay was one for three and the penalty kill two for three. Tyler Brown made 64 saves for Regina, Jordan Papirny with 65 for Swift Current. The Pats will host the Broncos in game five on Friday night at the Brandt Centre at 7 p.m.
