Pats 2024 Teddy Bear Toss Night this Saturday December 14 at 6pm

Regina, Sask. - The Regina Pats Hockey Club will host the 28th Teddy Bear Toss game in franchise history this Saturday, December 14 at 6pm against the Moose Jaw Warriors at the Brandt Centre, presented by Global News.

Fans are asked to bring a new stuffed toy, preferably inside a clean plastic bag. When the Pats score their first goal, fans toss the stuffed toy onto the ice! If you don't have a stuffed animal, a limited number will be available around the concourse, or for purchase in the Pats Store.

Like last year, a large portion of the stuffed animals will be donated to the Salvation Army and other local charities following the game.

"We are incredibly excited to host the annual Teddy Bear Toss on December 14," said Regina Pats CEO Gord Pritchard. "This game has become a beloved tradition for our fans and the community. Every year, it's heartwarming to see the generosity and spirit of the Regina Pats supporters as they help bring joy to children in need. We're proud to continue this tradition and make a positive impact, both on and off the ice. We can't wait to see you this Saturday, and make it rain bears at the Brandt Centre."

There are currently no Pats Teddy Bear scorers on the roster. Last season, Sam Oremba scored the Teddy Bear Toss goal on December 2 versus the Swift Current Broncos. In 2022 and 2023, Tanner Howe scored the Teddy Bear Toss goal.

The Pats have won their last four Teddy Bear Toss meetings, and are 12-11-1-3 in Teddy Bear Toss matchups. The Pats' first ever Teddy Bear Toss game was December 11, 1996 with Derek Morris scoring for Regina as they defeated Moose Jaw 4-2.

Tickets are available for the whole family to enjoy the annual Teddy Bear Toss, or heading the Pats business office located at 1463 Albert St. or the Brandt Centre Box Office on game days.
