Patroons Host Draft Party

Albany, NY (September 20, 2007) - The Albany Patroons are gearing up for the 2007- 2008 season by hosting a draft party on Tuesday, September 25th at 8 PM at the Patroons home, the Washington Avenue Armory.

The 2007 CBA Draft will be webcast live from the Holiday Inn Parkway East in Pittsburgh by Web Television Network. The Albany Patroons draft party will be hosted by CBA Vice President Dennis Truax, with the assistance of Mark Argenziano, Director of Scouting and Jeff Argenziano, Director of Player Personnel.

"This is a very important party for the league as Albany is one of the longest tenured teams in the league," stated CBA Acting Commisioner Jim Coyne, who will also be present at the draft party. "The Patroons draft party officially kicks-off the CBA season," stated Patroons Vice President and General Manager, Dave Bestle.

Fans are invited to join the Patroons as Albany has the ninth pick in each of the six rounds. The draft will be projected on the big screen, with food & beverages available, and free admission. Patroons fans that are unable to attend the party can follow the draft online as it will be webcast live from Pittsburgh, www.webtelevisionnetwork.com.
