York, Pennsylvania - The Somerset Patriots (32-22) fell to the York Revolution (25-32) 7-1 Saturday night at PeoplesBank Park.

Telvin Nash (16) opened the scoring in the bottom of the first inning with a two-run home run to left field. The Patriots trimmed the Revs lead in half on a two-out RBI single from Edwin Espinal in the top of the fourth.

York then broke the game open in the next half inning. The first four batters of the inning reached base, including RBI singles from J.P. Sportsman and Henry Castillo, to increase York's lead to 4-1. A sacrifice fly from Angelys Nina and a run-scoring wild pitch later in the inning bumped the Revs lead to 6-1.

Carlos Franco (1) added a solo home run in the bottom of the fifth to put York in front 7-1. That score held the rest of the way, with five combined shutout innings from the Revolution bullpen.

Dan Minor started for Revs but was pulled after four innings. Peter Tago (W, 1-1) tossed a scoreless inning of relief to get the win. Liam O'Sullivan (L, 3-4) allowed six runs over four innings to take the loss.

The Patriots and Revolution conclude their three-game series Sunday afternoon. Right-hander David Kubiak (6-1, 1.33 ERA) takes the mound for Somerset against Revs righty Duke von Schamann (1-1, 3.08 ERA). First pitch at PeoplesBank Park is scheduled for 1:05 pm.
