Norfolk Tides News Release
The Baltimore Orioles announced today that they have re-acquired RHP Pat Egan from the Milwaukee Brewers. The Orioles immediately assigned the relief pitcher to the Norfolk Tides.
Egan, who was 1-1 with a 5.11 ERA in 27 appearances for the Tides in 2010, was selected by Milwaukee in December's Rule 5 Draft. He appeared in six games this spring for the Brewers, tossing 6.1 scoreless innings and recording two saves.
The Orioles also returned RHP Adrian Rosario to Milwaukee. Rosario was acquired in December's Rule 5 Draft from Milwaukee's roster. The reliever allowed two runs in two innings this spring for the Orioles.
The Norfolk Tides will open the 2011 season in Charlotte on Thursday, April 7. The team will make its Harbor Park debut against the same Charlotte Knights on Saturday, April 16. Season ticket packages and Tides Ten Packs are currently available over the phone or by visiting the Tides Box Office at Harbor Park.
