
Parrott Promoted to Triple-A

Lake Buena Vista, Fla.- The Tennessee Smokies(22-13, 57-48) received RHP Jeremy Cook from Class A Palm Beach to take the place of RHP Rhett Parrott, who was promoted to Triple A Memphis Sunday night. Cook, 25, will start for the Smokies Monday night at Orlando in the third game of a four game series.
Parrott started for Memphis Monday afternoon in Omaha.
The Smokies return home Thursday night to host the Rays in the first game of an eight game homestand.
