Millar was named MVP of the Bandits last season while compiling 77 points in 52 games as a defenseman. He also amassed 205 penalty minutes. "Sam is a physical player who was an all star and a captain of his team last year and will be a terrific addition to our roster for the coming season", head coach and general manager Bruce Ramsay stated.
Also joining the Parrots is Cory Dzikowski (pronounced Dizkowski), a 22 year old right wing from Manitoba who played most recently with the Bay City Blizzard of the CEHL.
